Whiskies of the World® Expo is the popular whisky tasting event which takes place annually in San Francisco. In its 13th year, the Expo will be held on the ever-popular San Francisco Belle, Hornblower Yacht, Saturday March 31, 2012.  5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Every year, the Expo attracts over 1400 guests to sample superlative whiskies and the chance to meet the outstanding personalities of the Whisky World. The Expo is famous for hosting Brand Ambassadors and Distillers such as Richard Paterson, Stephen Beal, Simon Brooking,  Ed Kohl and other whisky gurus.

For 2012, the elegant and spacious Belle will provide three full ballroom-sized decks of tasting booths and Expo features. On sample will be hundreds of Whiskies and Artisanal Spirits from from around the globe.  From as close as San Francisco to as far afield as India and Japan.

In addition, hosted on the top deck will be Cigar and Whisky pairing, a prominent component of the event.

Every year there are new and exciting brands, and interesting people to meet. Every whisky has its unique character stemming from a captivating history and popular legend. We hope to see you at the show!

It is a guided tasting and journey into the intimate details of a particular whisky. We encourage anyone who has never attended to experience it. Classes are very popular and are always full.

Dram Club is a very exciting addition to WoW.

The members have private gatherings throughout the year and enjoy special treatment and perks, such as tasting tours, and happy hours. The customary Dram Club pre-party, held on Friday before the Expo in a popular San Franciscan “Speakeasy” bar, is especially loved and cherished by the Members.  The existence of the club is a perfect addition to the Expo, and makes it not just an annual event, but a unique social gathering where people have similar interests and can build lifetime relationships. Since the Expo’s new management is based locally, we plan to arrange added events and experiences for the Dram Club, and, of course, to explore more Whisky.
