Based in San Francisco Brandon is a fermentation geek with a passion for thoughtfully made beverages including whiskey and wine. His interest in whiskey spans from the varieties of grains used to yeast selection as well as the many other decisions made prior to bottling. He values aroma and flavor over appearance and doesn’t care for acetone in his whiskey. For the past four years he has served as an international whiskey judge and anytime he’s in the company of master distillers hopes to be the least knowledgeable.
Brandon has been drinking and collecting whiskies for roughly 10 years and sometimes wonders if he overbought.
